Middle School Rafting Camp
🚣♂️ Introducing the YMCA’s First-Ever Rafting Camp!
Join us for a week of adventure, learning, and fun on the river!
*At least 10 children need to be registered for this program to occur*
Camp Details:

Who: Youth participants ready for a safe and exciting rafting experience, incoming 6th- 8th graders

Cost: $450 (includes daily lunch and snacks)

What’s Included: guided instruction, art and nature projects, and plenty of memories!
- What’s Needed: Lifejacket and water bottle
- Drop off 8:00am, Pick up 5:00pm
Schedule:

Day 1 – Water Safety & Rafting Basics
Location TBD (Spring Meadow or Canyon Ferry Lake)
Led by an experienced youth rafting guide. We’ll cover water safety fundamentals and introductory rafting skills. -
Day 2 – Rafting: Wolf Creek to Craig
Includes a fun art project halfway through the day! -
Day 3 – Rafting: Craig to Prewett Creek
Start the day with a bird identification activity before hitting the water. -
Day 4 – Rafting: Mountain Palace to Craig
Enjoy a fish-themed creative project after paddling through scenic waters. -
Day 5 – Rafting: Wolf Creek to Dearborn
End the week with a river-themed collage project and one final splash of fun!
